“Power of the Portfolio” Corporate Presentation – Whirlpool

Whirlpool came to Aisle Rocket looking to develop a presentation for their annual sales conference to educate their 900+ sales associates about the unique strengths of each of their brands and consumer segments.

The Approach

Working directly with two senior marketing executives at Whirlpool, a presentation designer, and a live events producer, we collectively created this presentation to educate Whirlpool’s sales associates about the strength of their four direct-to-consumer brands and each brand’s consumer profile. In addition to the content of the presentation itself, I wrote a short audio drama for each brand’s consumer profile to help the sales associates better understand the differences between them and a personality quiz so conference attendees could see which brand persona they best matched.

By tailoring the presentation to both the client’s comfort and extensive brand knowledge, we were able to deliver an engaging presentation that played to their strengths.

The Results

The marketing leads at Whirlpool were tremendously happy with the end result, calling it a “stunning” visual presentation and thanking us for helping them navigate such a large-scale presentation.

The material I wrote for this presentation was referenced frequently by both Whirlpool’s corporate team and Aisle Rocket’s employees as a guide to better understanding the differences between the Whirlpool portfolio of brands.
