Maytag’s “Good Looking. Hard Working.” Campaign

Building off the massive success of their 2022 “Conquer Pet Hair Like a Pro” campaign, I helped develop the “Good Looking. Hard Working” campaign that re-introduced Maytag to the Kitchen.

With their new “expressive brand language,” Maytag appliances have a stunning stainless steel finish, knurled handles and a sleek new badge to go with the dependable performance shoppers know and love. Check out the lineup video or the suite page.

Whirlpool’s “Power of the Portfolio” Presentation

Working hand-in-hand with Whirlpool’s internal corporate communications team, I developed the “Power of the Portfolio” presentation to help them educate their sales associates and retail partners about the unique strengths of each of their brands and consumer segments. In addition to insights into shopper behavior, this presentation also included four audio dramas I wrote to help associates better understand the perspective of each brand’s consumers.

Whirlpool D2C Website Redesign

Over the last three years, I’ve helped Whirlpool Brand concept campaigns, redesign their website to facilitate a better direct-to-consumer shopping experience, written and produced video content for dozens of product launches, developed a new strategy for point-of-purchase materials and more.

Occasionally, I’ll also assist with corporate materials like their annual sales presentations, training materials for associates, and co-branded materials and content.

ADM B2B Integrated Media Campaigns

I worked directly with ADM to bring a variety of their business-to-business integrated media campaigns to life over the course of 2024. This included developing paid media for LinkedIn, Meta, and industry publications as well as helping create press releases for their executives; updating their website to reflect new product launches (like this one); writing longform whitepapers, case studies, and trend reports; and developing content for their Salesforce lead generation pipeline. The campaigns I worked on covered over 2 million dollars in ad spends.

Pet Nutrition Customer Academy Campaign

In Q3, 2024, I helped ADM develop a full suite of integrated media campaign materials to promote their new Pet Nutrition Customer Academy landing page, helping to establish ADM as a thought leader in pet nutrition with a suite of over 30 different touchpoints for their potential customers.

Cricut’s Evergreen Campaign

In 2021, I helped Cricut overhaul their suite of evergreen ads and video content to better target their audience of ‘Makers’ based on their latest consumer data and strategic insights.

JamesHardie Sales Brochure & In-Store Materials

In partnership with JamesHardie’s internal sales team, we developed a packet of sales tools to help their in-store associates speak to the brand’s value propositions for contractors and small business owners. Additionally, we designed tent cards, stickers and other in-store materials to increase brand awareness

Rainbows in Pieces Brand & Product Development

Rainbows in Pieces was an all-new, outrageous brand of unicorn collectible figures. Each R.I.P. unicorn came with a collectible trading card that featured a limerick poem I wrote that tells how they nearly met their demise.

I also created these hilarious R.I.P. Valentine’s Day cards that we promoted on Instagram and Facebook to help increase the brand’s awareness.

Little Tikes Brand Refresh

In early 2018, the new Vice President of Marketing for Little Tikes asked me to work with her to help update and modernize the Little Tikes Brand. Prior to 2018, Little Tikes was mostly focused on attracting Baby Boomer and Gen X parents with a sentimental, nostalgic, and occasionally passive tone. Together, we rebranded Little Tikes from the ground up to focus on Millennial Parents who prefer to engage in activities directly alongside their children, like brands that have a edge and a sense of humor, and prefer to spend money on brands they believe share their values.

From 2018 through 2020, I helped update the brand’s tone in commercials, digital ads, radio spots, blogs, on packaging, and at every other consumer touchpoint.

Starting in 2019, Little Tikes began hosting the World’s Biggest Playdate, an annual day dedicated to play. 2019’s inaugural World’s Biggest Playdate saw thousands of people participating in more than a dozen countries worldwide with tens of thousands more throwing their own events at home. In the summer, we brought the event to minor league baseball stadiums across the country via the Play Big! Tour. In 2020, the World’s Biggest Playdate moved entirely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but more than 40,000 people worldwide in 10 different countries partook in the World’s Biggest Playdate from the comfort of their homes.

For each World’s Biggest Playdate event, I wrote marketing emails, radio ad copy, digital copy, blog entries, and helped create the activities that the event featured as well. Additionally, I helped curate and design our free downloadable activity kit that we offer to families who wish to throw their own World’s Biggest Playdate event at home.

In an effort to enhance many of Little Tikes’ best selling toys, I worked with our Product Design and Web Development teams to help create the Little Tikes Play Big! Skill for Amazon’s Alexa. Using the Play Big! Skill, kids are able to take their Cozy Coupe on a drive around town on a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’-style trip, play games while sliding down their First Slide, and take their Rocking Horse on a trip through the old west. This exciting new project helped bring some of our most successful, legacy toys to a whole new audience.

The Hangrees Brand, Content & Product Development

In 2019, MGA released The Hangrees, an innovative new line of collectible, poop parody figures. In addition to Little Tikes, MGA is known for creating classic collectible lines like L.O.L. Surprise!, Num Noms, and more. The Hangrees took kids favorite pop culture figures and showed the world just how much they stink! In addition to the collectible figures, The Hangrees also created a series of stand alone, short form stop motion comedy sketches.
