Whirlpool Brand – Homepage Redesign, Video Content & More

At Aisle Rocket, Whirlpool (both the Brand and the larger corporation) are the primary account I work on. My work with them varies from helping redesign their website (including the homepage, both primary category landing pages, and nine sub-category pages), writing and producing video content for product launches, helping concept and execute point-of-purchase materials, generating consumer-facing messaging, and more.
Occasionally, I’ll also assist with corporate materials like their annual sales presentations, training materials for associates, and co-branded materials and content.
Cricut – Evergreen Campaign & B2B Video Content

Working in concert with our internal video production team, I helped create new evergreen content for Cricut, a brand of crafting machines that help Makers draw, cut, deboss and more from the comfort of their own home crafting studios. Later, in part thanks to our work on refreshing their evergreen digital ads, Cricut signed with Aisle Rocket as a client.

When Aisle Rocket first started working with Joybird, it was exclusively to help place their digital media. I was part of the team that helped Joybird design a suite of new ads to promote their new stores and programs using only existing footage.
Little Tikes – Rebranding, CPG and Product Storytelling



In early 2018, the new Vice President of Marketing for Little Tikes asked me to work with her to help update and modernize the Little Tikes Brand. Prior to 2018, Little Tikes was mostly focused on attracting Baby Boomer and Gen X parents with a sentimental, nostalgic, and occasionally passive tone. Together, we rebranded Little Tikes from the ground up to focus on Millennial Parents who prefer to engage in activities directly alongside their children, like brands that have a edge and a sense of humor, and prefer to spend money on brands they believe share their values. From 2018 through 2020, I helped update the brand’s tone in commercials, digital ads, radio spots, blogs, on packaging, and at every other consumer touchpoint.

Little Tikes – The World’s Biggest Playdate Live Event, Campaign Promotion & More
Starting in 2019, Little Tikes began hosting the World’s Biggest Playdate, an annual day dedicated to play. 2019’s inaugural World’s Biggest Playdate saw thousands of people participating in more than a dozen countries worldwide with tens of thousands more throwing their own events at home. In the summer, we brought the event to minor league baseball stadiums across the country via the Play Big! Tour. In 2020, the World’s Biggest Playdate moved entirely virtual due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but more than 40,000 people worldwide in 10 different countries partook in the World’s Biggest Playdate from the comfort of their homes.
For each World’s Biggest Playdate event, I wrote marketing emails, radio ad copy, digital copy, blog entries, and helped create the activities that the event featured as well. Additionally, I helped curate and design our free downloadable activity kit that we offer to families who wish to throw their own World’s Biggest Playdate event at home.

The Little Tikes Play Big! Skill for Amazon’s Alexa
In an effort to enhance many of Little Tikes’ best selling toys, I worked with our Product Design and Web Development teams to help create the Little Tikes Play Big! Skill for Amazon’s Alexa. Using the Play Big! Skill, kids are able to take their Cozy Coupe on a drive around town on a ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’-style trip, play games while sliding down their First Slide, and take their Rocking Horse on a trip through the old west. This exciting new project helped bring some of our most successful, legacy toys to a whole new audience.

Rainbows in Pieces – Brand Storytelling & CPG
Rainbows in Pieces was an all-new, outrageous brand of unicorn collectible figures. Each R.I.P. unicorn came with a collectible trading card that featured a limerick poem I wrote that tells how they nearly met their demise.


I also created these hilarious R.I.P. Valentine’s Day cards that we promoted on Instagram and Facebook to help increase the brand’s awareness.

The Hangrees – CPG & Product Design
In 2019, MGA released The Hangrees, an innovative new line of collectible, poop parody figures. In addition to Little Tikes, MGA is known for creating classic collectible lines like L.O.L. Surprise!, Num Noms, and more. The Hangrees took kids favorite pop culture figures and showed the world just how much they stink! In addition to the collectible figures, The Hangrees also created a series of stand alone, short form stop motion comedy sketches.

Real Wood Adventures Playsets
As a part of Little Tikes’ expanding line of active play toys, they introduced Real Wood Adventures outdoor playsets in the spring of 2020. Using extensive consumer research and testing, our Product Design team created playsets based on data insights drawn directly from the marketplace. As the sole copywriter on all Little Tikes products, I worked extensively to help build out the website and other ecommerce assets to ensure the successful launch of Real Wood Adventures.

Little Tikes – Project Play Big! Reality Series
As a part of Little Tikes’ 2019 Play Big! initiative (which was designed to encourage parents and their kids to engage in active play together), I worked with our Entertainment and Marketing teams to put out a reality show called Project Play Big! Each week, host Brett Tutor went to a different city to help a family in need improve their lives through the power of play.

Kingdom Builders Animated Series
Kingdom Builders marked a distinct departure from the traditional Little Tikes tone. Prior to 2018, Little Tikes had created a limited, but very sentimental in tone slate of content. Kingdom Builders was silly, whimsical, and the exact sort of content I personally love. Working in conjunction with our entertainment team, we created a full season of YouTube content designed for kids and their fathers to watch together.

Ready2Robot – Animated YouTube Series
As a part of MGAs expanding action figures business, I helped create the animated Ready2Robot branded content series that premiered on YouTube in advance of the line of toys in 2018. Serving as one of MGA’s team of creative consultants, I helped develop the show bible, revise the scripts to match the brand’s tone, and made sure that the final content aligned with MGA’s vision.
